Auto Append by Rose

Evidence-backed status: Private code candidate — development started; not installed or released

Planned: append text you choose—such as a sign-off, standard footer, or reminder—to the end of outgoing messages. The feature is not available yet.

append text you choose—such as a sign-off, standard footer, or reminder—to the end of outgoing messages — this is what we're exploring.

Free install / trial: Not available yet. This Petal is planned, not released. The beta programme is not open; the link lets you register interest by email.

Development has started. The draft extension includes configurable appended text, stored settings, ON/OFF control, conversation-scoping options, and an append-once check. Browser installation and live acceptance are still unverified. The private work is not an approved public installer or finished product. The Petal cannot be bought, enabled or trialled by visitors yet.

🛠️ What has actually been developed

The draft extension includes configurable appended text, stored settings, ON/OFF control, conversation-scoping options, and an append-once check. Browser installation and live acceptance are still unverified.

  • Write custom text to append before sending
  • Configure ON/OFF and scope settings in the private candidate
  • Avoid adding identical suffix text twice
  • Saved preferences exist in code; live browser acceptance remains outstanding

Current status: Private code candidate — development started; not installed or released. No public installer, browser acceptance or release is claimed.

🎯 The problem

Planned: append text you choose—such as a sign-off, standard footer, or reminder—to the end of outgoing messages. The feature is not available yet.

How it may work

The proposal is to let you choose a short ending and control when it applies, with a preview before sending and a way to avoid duplicate text. Those safeguards and settings are design goals, not verified controls. The Petal is not available yet.

Documented and proposed feature scope

This list reflects the project evidence reviewed for this page. Candidate, prototype, planned and concept items are not claims of released or available controls.

  • Choose configurable text such as a sign-off, suffix or reminder.
  • Append the chosen text once per message.
  • The Signature by Rose name was an unapproved suggestion, not an approved feature name.
  • Planned; unavailable.

🎚️ Petal toggle — switch it on only when you want it

The proposed experience: Once a supported version exists, you would choose whether this Petal runs. Keep it OFF until you need it, switch it ON when you want to use it, and back OFF when you are finished.

  1. Check whether a supported Rose Lite build includes this Petal.
  2. Enable its switch only when you choose.
  3. Disable it again whenever you do not need it.

Preview only: This is how the toggle is intended to work. The switch and free installation are not available for this unreleased Petal today.
