Privacy Policy

KingDing.co.uk is a product-information website hosted with Fasthosts. It has no active payment checkout or customer account. The comment form includes separate optional choices for Rose & Etta marketing and approved-comment notifications; no marketing campaigns are currently sent from the comment service. Site search sends a search term to this website in the page URL; the query may be included in the request. Same-origin scripts provide navigation, search, the Petal carousel and comments. No third-party analytics, advertising pixel or marketing signup service was found in the inspected page source on 18 October 2026.

Website contact, sign-up and refund forms

When you submit a support or Petal feedback form, the name (if supplied), email address, message and page or Petal context you provide are sent privately to support@kingding.co.uk through the website hosting mail service so Rose & Etta can respond. Early-adopter and updates forms send your email address, optional name and the consent choice you make. These requests are handled manually; they do not create a paid subscription or an automated marketing-list entry. A refund request sends the registered email address, Paddle order number and optional cancellation reason to support.

The form handler also uses a short-lived keyed hash of the request IP for rate limiting; it does not store the raw IP in form data, and old hashes are removed on a later form submission after one hour. The form handler does not save a second copy in the Petal comments store or a separate website form database. Email copies are held in the support mailbox as correspondence; the mailbox provider and specific retention period still need confirmation. Fasthosts may process request metadata under its server logging policies; the exact log fields and retention periods still need confirmation. Please send only the information needed for your request. You can withdraw consent for future updates by contacting support@kingding.co.uk.

If you submit a Petal comment, an email address is required. We store it privately with the comment text, Petal page, submission time and optional display name. Your email is not displayed publicly. Comments stay private while pending; only comments approved by the moderator are shown publicly. The form's email choices are separate and optional: Rose & Etta marketing, and email updates when a new comment is approved on that Petal. We record each choice with the comment. Marketing selection is not required to comment. Comment-update emails are sent only to people who selected that option, and exclude the person whose comment was just approved. To withdraw either choice, contact support@kingding.co.uk. Pending comments and their associated email choices are removed on the first comment-service request after 90 days; approved comments and their associated email choices remain until removed, and the moderator can delete comments at any time. Please do not include sensitive or private information.

To limit spam, the comment service temporarily stores a keyed hash of the connecting IP address, not the raw address in the comments store. Entries older than one hour are cleared on subsequent comment submissions. Fasthosts may separately process request data under its own server logging policies; those log fields and retention periods have not been confirmed.

If you choose to email support, you decide what information to include. The email provider and how support messages are stored have not yet been confirmed. The moderator login uses a strictly necessary secure session cookie only on the private moderation page; the public comment form does not set a cookie.
