How it may work
Design is still open. Check the linked pages for the current proposal; planned behaviour is not available yet.
Documented and proposed feature scope
This list reflects the project evidence reviewed for this page. Candidate, prototype, planned and concept items are not claims of released or available controls.
- Research/future capability: use local hardware where it makes sense.
- Supported workloads and hardware requirements are not defined yet.

🎚️ Petal toggle — switch it on only when you want it
The proposed experience: Once a supported version exists, you would choose whether this Petal runs. Keep it OFF until you need it, switch it ON when you want to use it, and back OFF when you are finished.
- Check whether a supported Rose Lite build includes this Petal.
- Enable its switch only when you choose.
- Disable it again whenever you do not need it.
Preview only: This is how the toggle is intended to work. The switch and free installation are not available for this unreleased Petal today.
